Teasdale Foods, Inc. is hiring a High Reach Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Louisville, KY. The role offers $19.90 per hour and requires operating a reach truck to move palletized inventory with RF scanner tracking and strict safety practices.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting with packing, labeling, and inventory counts. Training on GMP, safety, and quality policies is provided from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have prior Reach/High Lift experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good communication via handheld radio.
• Able to stand 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift/reach truck to stow and pull palletized inventory.
• Load and unload pallets from trailers safely and efficiently.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory moves.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all work areas.

Job DescriptionHIGH REACH FORKLIFT OPERATOR (2ND SHIFT, 3:30 PM - 12 AM) - $19.90/hr - LOUISVILLE, KYDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Safely operate stand-up forklift/reach truck to stow and pull palletized inventoryEscalate and report safety hazards and show commitment to a safe work environmentRotate and organize goods on a Warehouse double-deep racking up to 40 feet high using reach equipmentWork with team leaders to provide timely support to production regarding the supply and/or removal of raw materials and finished goodsLoad and unload pallets from trailers safely and efficientlyStack empty pallets and organize materials by lot/expirationAccurately utilize RF scanners to track inventory movesAssist in keeping work areas clear of refuse by sweeping, collecting trash, and other housekeeping activitiesParticipate in physical inventory counts by reporting the quantity and locations of specific pallets with an RF scannerInspect equipment to determine safety, as well as plug/unplug forklifts at charging stationsWill be required to pick and pack orders, build pallets, label cases, and accurately follow product codesMaintain high housekeeping standards in all work areas and inspect products for quality complianceWear a hairnet, beard net, safety vest, and hygienic clothing to maintain high standards for food productionJOB REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to perform all duties as assigned in the work instructionsMust have previous experience on a Reach/High LiftMust be able to communicate well with peers and leadership via hand-held radioMust be able to reach and fill out appropriate Warehouse logs/documentsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to stand for 8+ hoursTRAINING:Annual GMP, Safety, and Quality policy training.Annual review of work instructions.Additional training as necessary.WHY TEASDALE?:Union PropertyDay One - Health, Dental, and Vision BenefitsDay One Accrual of Sick Time401(k) Retirement Plan with Matching Contributions at 60 DaysCareer Growth Opportunities and Professional DevelopmentAre you passionate about making a difference every single day, being a part of a growing team, and transforming your job into a career?
