Job summary

Lineage in Wisconsin is seeking a 3rd shift forklift operator to move products and materials using a stand-up reach forklift. The role runs Sunday to Wednesday nights, 7:30pm–6am, with pay at $22 per hour and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will load, unload, pick and put away palletized units, complete RF system records, and perform daily safety checks while adhering to Lineage safety standards; opportunities for growth exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in cold and regular storage environments with PPE.
• Must lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks.
• Pick palletized units from racks for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor and maintain batteries and charging stations.

3rd Shift - Sunday-Wednesday night from 7:30pm-6am

Pay $22 per hour

Use stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
