Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a stand-up reach forklift operator at our Fontana facility. You will move products and materials in cold and dry storage, following safety standards, from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM with rotating Sun-Wed and Wed-Sat schedules.

Pay ranges from $21.00 to $22.50 per hour depending on experience and DOE. Responsibilities include pallet put-away, outbound preparation, RF system usage, and routine equipment checks.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in country language.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20°F/-25°C to 100°F/37°C in cold or dry storage while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs/18 kgs.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Comfortable with variable noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for rack placement.
• Pick palletized units from racks above floor height for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor and maintain battery chargers and clean batteries.

Job description

Use stand‑up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Schedule

4AM-2:30PM

• Sun‑Wed
• Wed‑Sat

Pay

$21.00-22.50 DOE

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range: $19.18 - $32.40
