Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a warehouse forklift operator to handle palletized goods in temperature-controlled environments. You will operate stand-up reach forklifts, place and retrieve pallets, and record weights and counts using RF systems, while following safety standards.

The role requires basic math, the ability to lift at least 40 lbs, and willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends. You will contribute to a reliable, compliant operation across cold and dry storage sites.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in Country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20F/-25C to 100F/37C wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Use stand‑up reach forklift to move products while following safety standards.
• Put away palletised units by lifting forks for above-floor placement.
• Pick palletised units from above-floor racks for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load/unload materials on pallets or skids; perform daily forklift maintenance checks.
• Monitor battery charge and maintain equipment charging station.

Job description

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use stand‑up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Put away palletised units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletised units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in Country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.
