Job summary

Lineage is seeking a 2nd shift forklift operator in a freezer warehouse. You will operate a stand-up reach forklift to move products and comply with safety standards and company policies. The role includes RF system usage and daily equipment checks.

The position offers base pay and a $1.50 shift differential, with potential for growth within Lineage's team environment, serving major customers in a stable warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for weights and measures.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with cold storage environments (-20°F/-25°C).
• Must tolerate varying noise levels in a freezer/dry warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for rack placement.
• Pick palletized units from racks for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load/unload materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance and check sheets.
• Monitor and maintain battery charge and charging station.

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm. Base Pay $23. Shift Differential $1.50.

High Reach Forklift Experience Required

Freezer Warehouse

Use stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$19.18 - $32.40
