Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking an Industrial Gases Technician. You will install, test, and maintain gas handling infrastructure, including high and low-pressure systems, pumps, valves, and piping.

You will support preventative maintenance with engineers and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in a manufacturing or gas-related setting, with a preference for candidates with an associate degree, A&P license, and experience in cryogenic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; 2+ years in manufacturing, logistics, or power and gas roles.
• Associate degree or equiv. preferred.
• Experience in high-reliability environments (aerospace, military) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain gas ground infrastructure (pumps, tanks, valves, piping).
• Operate and maintain high/low-pressure gas systems and related equipment.
• Support preventative maintenance planning with design/build engineers.
• Repair pre-existing piping, regulators, gauges, and related hardware.
• Possess required licenses, operator permits, or certifications as needed.
• Adhere to SpaceX safety, quality, OSHA, EPA, NFPA standards.
