Job summary

United Motorsports of Cincinnati is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of powersports vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will follow OEM procedures and safety practices, perform tests and measurements, and document all repairs to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in powersports or automotive industry with manufacturer certifications.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair powersports or automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, maintenance, repair, recall, accessory installation, setup, and other assigned work using OEM procedures, specifications, service information, and safety practices.
• Review the repair order to confirm customer concern, authorized work, unit identification, and special instructions.
• Diagnose concerns accurately and document findings, test results, measurements, observations, and other information to support repair decisions.
• Communicate additional findings, required parts, recommended maintenance, safety concerns, or changes in repair scope to the Service Advisor before work.
• Perform only authorized work and follow OEM or warranty requirements when completing repairs.
• Document work performed with clear resolution notes including cause of failure and steps taken.
• Record recommendations for upcoming work with detailed explanations for the Service Advisor.
• Close labor operations as jobs are completed with accurate labor and repair documentation.
• Protect customer property in the shop and report any issues to Service Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and handle removed parts properly.
