Job summary

Capgemini in Alpharetta, GA seeks a contract software engineer for 2 months to design, develop, and deploy full stack apps using C, C++, and Python. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume systems, integrating UI components with backend services while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in C, C++, Golang and Python.
• REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and messaging systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Experience with relational databases such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in Python and build tools Maven/Gradle; version control with Git.
• Knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and multithreading/concurrency.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications using C, C++, Python.
• Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume, low-latency systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, architects, and QA to deliver quality solutions.
• Develop responsive UI components and integrate with backend services.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
• Implement secure coding and regulatory/compliance practices in financial systems.
• Create and maintain technical docs for code, APIs, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with support teams for timely resolutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices.
