Job summary

Selby Jennings in Chicago is seeking engineers to develop and enhance components of a high-performance trading platform. You will build systems for data analysis, algorithm development, and execution infrastructure, and design, develop, and maintain efficient C++ applications in a Linux environment.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in C++ software engineering, strong CS fundamentals, and at least 3 years in Linux/Unix contexts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience using C++ or similar language.
• At least 3 years of experience with C++ in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Financial industry experience is helpful but not required.
