Proximity Learning, Inc. in Philadelphia area seeks an In-Person Tutor to provide high-impact tutoring for students in grades 5–8 at Pennsauken Public Schools sites during the school day. Tutors deliver small-group instruction in either ELA or Math, not both, to help close gaps and move students toward grade-level proficiency.

Tutors report on-site at Pennsauken locations; sessions may be push-in or pull-out, with groups of up to 4 students, during 9:00 AM–2:00 PM EDT windows.

Qualificações

• Experience tutoring students in grades 5–8.
• Ability to support students two or more grade levels below.
• Strong classroom management for small groups.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver small-group tutoring sessions in ELA or Math during the school day.
• Adapt instruction to meet students two or more grade levels below expectations.
• Track and monitor student progress toward grade-level proficiency and the program's 60% growth goal.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to align tutoring with classroom instruction.
• Maintain a supportive, engaging learning environment for push-in and pull-out sessions.
• Communicate regularly with program coordinators regarding student progress, attendance, and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of session attendance and student performance data.
