Job summary

Keystone & Golden, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Chief Operating Officer to optimize two manufacturing facilities in Florida. You will drive scheduling, throughput, and accountability across powders, capsules, tablets, gummies, liquids, bottling, packaging, and warehousing.

This executive will implement repeatable operating rhythms, clear decision rights, and strong cross‑functional alignment, reducing founder day-to-day involvement while enabling profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plant operations leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, food, pharmaceuticals, or another cGMP-regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of batch records, quality release, quarantine, cleaning, changeovers, traceability, and audit-ready processes.
• Experience leading multi-line, labor-sensitive manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated success improving scheduling, throughput, cross-functional handoffs, and operating discipline.
• Experience managing managers, supervisors, and operational support functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily and weekly operating cadence across both facilities.
• Establish disciplined production, scheduling, constraint-management, and issue-resolution processes.
• Ensure plant priorities reflect customer commitments, labor availability, materials, quality, and capacity.
• Improve batch planning, changeover discipline, and schedule reliability.
• Establish operating rules for escalation, staffing, equipment needs, and schedule changes.
• Stabilize operations across powders, capsules, tablets, gummies, liquids, bottling, packaging, and warehousing.
• Coordinate labor, staging, materials, and packaging around constraints and priorities.
• Use data to identify constraints and justify automation or capital investments.
• Convert capacity into increased output and profitable growth.
• Build clear handoffs among Operations, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Account Management, and Sales.
• Translate new business launches into realistic labor, material, capacity, production, and release plans.
• Establish accountability and escalation paths for cross-functional issues.
• Align commitments, efficiency, quality release flow, and capacity allocation within one process.
• Lead and develop senior operational leadership, planning, site leaders, supervisors, and support functions.
• Define leadership accountability and succession plans.
