Job summary

The High Companies is seeking a Room Attendant at one of our Ewing-area hotel properties. You will perform routine housekeeping duties to meet brand standards, ensure guest rooms and common areas are clean, and support the guest experience.

The role may involve working in laundry, common area cleaning, and room cleaning across properties. Starting wage is $19.06 per hour, with weekend shift premium of $1 per hour.

Qualifications

• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning the guest rooms according to brand standards in the allotted amount of time.
• Vacuuming the carpet and furniture.
• Cleaning and dusting furniture.
• Cleaning kitchenettes and washing the dishes in suites.
• Changing bed linens
• Cleaning the guest room bathroom
• Maintaining the linen cart and ensuring supplies are neatly organized.
• Ensuring security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.

As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD. you will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand. Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning and room cleaning.

This position will be based at one of our Ewing -area hotel properties and requires flexibility to work at any of the following locations:

• Courtyard by Marriott- 360 Scotch Road Ewing, NJ 08628
• SpringHill Suites- 1000 Charles Ewing Blvd Ewing, NJ 08628

Full-time position (5 days per week). Available schedules include:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends
• Mid Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Part Time position (3 days per week/weekends only).

Days and shifts will vary. Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday availability is required. Shift end times are subject to change based on business needs and occupancy levels.

Weekends include a $1/hr. shift premium!

Starting Rate: $19.06/hr. depending upon experience.

Areas of responsibility for our Room Attendants include:

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
