Job summary

PERG online is seeking a friendly server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver attentive service in a fast-paced bar and dining area. You will communicate dietary needs, upsell beverages, and handle MICROS transactions while maintaining clean, organized service stations.

Flexibility to work weekends/holidays is required; must stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Collaborate with team to ensure guest satisfaction in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience in a high-volume environment.
• Food Handlers and TABC certification, or obtain upon hire.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling cocktails.
• Ability to input information accurately into MICROS.
• Excellent communication in English with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a pleasant smile and provide superior customer service.
• Take orders and answer questions, offering menu and daily specials suggestions.
• Communicate with culinary team about allergies and dietary needs.
• Record transactions in MICROS and adhere to cash handling standards.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction after each course or beverage.
• Present accurate check and process payment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Set up and break down stations and complete side work duties.
• Ensure tables are properly set up and glassware is polished and clean.
• Operate according to Omni Moments of Service Standards.
• Greet guests using surnames when available and be pleasant at all times.
• Protect the hotel from liability by avoiding over-serving guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
