Job summary

The Hampton Social Ventures LLC is seeking an experienced bartender for our high-energy bar and dining area in Dallas, TX. You will serve bar patrons and dining room guests, handle payments, maintain a clean, stocked bar, and follow company policies to ensure safety and hospitality at all times.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of bartending in a high-volume setting, strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and the ability to multitask while providing engaging service.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience; high-volume or fast-casual exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and how to prepare them.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes food and/or beverage orders; informs about products and features.
• Follows recipes and/or directions for mixing beverages.
• Collects payments and operates cash registers per company cash handling policies; secures money at end of shift.
• Adheres to alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication.
• Follows all PH processes for customer service, beverage and cash handling policies.
• Keeps bar clean, sanitized and well stocked.
• Adheres to safety and sanitation policies.
