PMHNPs at our partner sites provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations, medication management, TMS where available, and ongoing outpatient care in

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License where services are provided.
• Valid and unrestricted nursing licenses where services are provided.
• Valid DEA number and any licenses/certificates required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnoses.

• Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans.

Location: In-person, hybrid, or remote within applicable states.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) at our partner practices provide high-quality comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, TMS services (if applicable), and ongoing treatment in an outpatient setting, working within a collaborative, patient-centered care model. Success in this role is demonstrated through safe prescribing practices, strong patient engagement, and close collaboration with therapy and interdisciplinary clinical teams.

PMHNP Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

• Site/Partner Practice dependent, PMHNPs may oversee staff technicians who perform daily TMS treatments

Requirements

Requirements

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the state where healthcare services are provided
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided
• Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration ("DEA") number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances;
• Minimum of 1 year of post-certification experience, outpatient preferred
• Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ability to work productively and effectively.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures
• Possess and maintain adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy
• Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations

• Knowledge of evidence-based medication protocols
