Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active New York State Medical License required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Significant catheterization experience in interventional radiology.
• Proficiency with CT, nuclear medicine, and radiology tech.
• Familiarity with CPT coding for billing.
• Strong attention to detail and independent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including catheterizations.
• Image-guided procedures using CT and diagnostic radiology.
• Maintain sterile environment and aseptic technique.
• Interpret imaging studies and prepare diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to determine approaches.
• Ensure accurate documentation and CPT billing compliance.
• Stay current with advances in interventional radiology.
