Job summary

Midas in Dublin, CA is hiring an experienced automotive technician for a fast-paced, high-volume shop. You will diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, and handle tasks from tires to A/C systems, using modern scan tools.

The ideal candidate is able to work independently and in a team, with a track record of productivity and a valid CA driver's license. Weekend shifts are required, and compensation includes a generous commission on labor and parts.

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently and in a team.
• Proven track record of high weekly productivity (≥50 hours).
• Experience with diagnostic tools and state-of-the-art scan equipment.
• Familiarity with road-test and safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems.
• Install and balance tires; service A/C, belts and hoses.
• Perform safety inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Utilize lifts, alignment and scan tools to diagnose issues.
• Communicate with customers and document repairs.
