Job Description

• Job Title: HDMS 7th Grade Boys Basketball Coach
• Terms of Employment: 2026‑2027 School Year, Work Basis: As arranged with immediate supervisor, Rate of Pay: Extra Duty Pay Schedule, No Benefits
• Reports To: Athletic Director / Principal
• Work Location: High Desert Middle School

Overview of Responsibilities: This is an extra duty position whose hours and specific duties are varied. The Athletic Director/High School Principal may be contacted regarding the assignment.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Teacher certification required by the AIA through the Arizona Department of Education
2. Knowledge and application skills for specific duty assignment
3. Ability to coordinate or develop assigned projects or activities as directed and establish and maintain a positive rapport with students, staff, and community
4. Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
