Overview
Responsible for the delivery and implementation of behavioral health or recovery programs within a facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating).
- Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals.
- May serve as a co-lead for groups.
- Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention.
- Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed in a clear, concise, professional and completed in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field required.
- One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred.
- Certification in specialty of program preferred.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
