Job summary

Atlant LLC is seeking a Hi-Tech Superintendent for a major semiconductor project in North Phoenix, AZ. This on-site role leads the field team, manages day-to-day operations, safety, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project delivery.

You will coordinate with Project Managers and the general contractor, set crew manpower, coach foremen, oversee equipment (20+ pieces), attend client meetings, and provide cost reporting to keep the project within budget.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Superintendent or 5+ years as a General Foreman.
• Ironworker and foreman field background.
• Experience managing crews of 50+ on site.
• Ability to run an equipment plan for 20+ pieces.
• NCCER Superintendent Certification program initiation/completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site team and run day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget.
• Set manpower and skill mix to hold the schedule; recruit and promote crew members.
• Coach foremen on hazards and controls, and champion site safety.
• Develop and run the on-site equipment management plan (20+ pieces).
• Attend customer meetings and report status across multiple scopes.
• Provide PMs with job costing information to meet budget.

• Schedule: 60/60/50 rotation, with early morning and evening communication as needed
  

About the company

An Arizona industrial and structural steel contractor (since 1974) with its own fabrication shop and field ironwork crews, currently staffing a major semiconductor (hi-tech) project.

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years as a Superintendent, or 5+ years as a General Foreman
• Extensive field experience as an ironworker and foreman
• Has managed on-site crews of 50 or more
• Can run an equipment plan for 20+ pieces of equipment
• Will complete the NCCER Superintendent Certification Program

The role

You'll lead the on-site team and run day-to-day operations on a hi-tech facility, keeping work safe, on schedule and on budget, and holding the team accountable.

What you'll do

• Work with Project Managers and the general contractor to build a smart erection plan
• Set manpower: crew size and skill mix to hold the schedule; recruit, interview, discipline and promote crew members
• Coach foremen and crews on hazards and controls, and champion job site safety
• Develop and run the on-site equipment management plan (20+ pieces)
• Attend customer meetings and report status and progress across multiple scopes
• Give PMs job costing information and strategies to meet budget
