Job summary

Baldor Specialty Foods is seeking a Hi-Lo Operator I to safely operate a Hi-Lo, transport, replenish, and organize inventory across warehouse operations. You will support inventory movement between reserve storage and primary picking areas to ensure product availability and accuracy.

You will work with Receiving, Inventory Control, Operations, Sanitation, and other teams to meet daily goals while adhering to safety and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material handling preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment preferred.
• Internally certified for one level reach Hi-Lo.
• Ability to obtain and maintain company certification for material handling equipment operation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Hi-Lo to transport, store, and replenish products.
• Move inventory between reserve storage and primary pick locations.
• Perform replenishment activities according to priorities and inventory requirements.
• Support receiving, inventory movement, sanitation, and workflows as assigned.
• Verify product locations and quantities prior to movement.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and safety documentation.
• Identify and report product damage, discrepancies, equipment concerns, or issues.
• Follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment staging locations.
• Collaborate with teams to support daily goals.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
