Job summary

GlobalPoint HC is seeking a registered nurse for a long-term care setting on the site of a hospital in Hawaii. The role involves performing assessments, treatments, medication administration, and reporting to the MD/NP with pertinent information.

Key duties include admitting/discharging, ADL assistance, and specialized care such as Gastrostomy Tube, urinary catheter, Nebulized Therapy, Wound Vac, CPAP, and Tracheostomy care. Shifts are 8 hours, varied, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Hawaii RN license by start of assignment
• BLS/BCLS certification
• Long Term Care (LTC) nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Nursing assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Notify MD/NP of pertinent information and coordinate care.
• Admitting and discharging patients; provide ADL assistance.
• Gastrostomy Tube care, urinary catheter care, and CPAP/tracheostomy support.
• Flexible shifts; 8-hour shifts; weekends/holidays required.
• Must hold Hawaii RN license by start of assignment.
