Clean Harbors in Riverside, CA is seeking a part-time Household Hazard Waste Technician I to support the CleanPack and Treatment and Disposal operations. This role focuses on safety, proper packaging, and compliant handling of HHW materials on customer sites.

The position offers on-site work with a pay range of $14.42–$28.85 per hour, and includes benefits after eligibility, training, and opportunities for growth within the Field Technicians division.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interface with customers in professional interactions.
• Perform required physical tasks as part of the job.
• Willingness to successfully complete background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Maintain Health and Safety as the top priority and follow all safe work practices.
• Properly package waste to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance.
• Keep the work area neat and orderly at all times.
• Participate in spill response on customer sites as needed.
• Attend all compliance and safety update meetings.
• Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Safely load and unload waste hauling vehicles.
• Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as required.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and rules.
• Operate vehicles per DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Adhere to company environmental, health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
