Right at Home Des Moines is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to join our in-home care team. You will provide essential personal care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities in clients' homes, helping them stay safe, healthy, and independent.

We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, next-day pay through Tapcheck, PTO, health insurance eligibility after 60 days for eligible hours, and a supportive work environment with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

• Commitment to providing exceptional care and promoting client independence.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Provide medication reminders and support with daily routines
• Perform delegated care tasks as directed by the care plan
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement activities
• Accompany or transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all agency policies and procedures
