Job summary

Right at Home Boston Southwest is seeking caring, reliable Home Health Aides to support local seniors in Foxborough and surrounding towns. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping in clients’ homes, promoting independence and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months experience as HHA or PCA with state-approved certification.
• Compassionate approach and ability to meet job demands; proficient in English.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification recommended and competency evaluation per state standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities including personal hygiene, mobility, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and meal prep.
• Prepare simple meals and be comfortable in the kitchen.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY:

Providing compassionate assistance with daily activities, including personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, mouth care, skin and hair care), mobility, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and other household tasks. Preparing simple meals and being comfortable in the kitchen.

OUR BEST TEAM MEMBERS HAVE:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience: At least six months as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA), with successful completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide, HHA, or PCA course.
• Skills: A compassionate approach to caregiving, ability to meet job demands, and proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
• Transportation: A valid driver’s license and access to an insured automobile, or reliable transportation for work.
• Certifications: Current CPR certificate recommended, as well as a Competency Evaluation meeting state licensing standards for home health aides.
