Hilton Garden Inn Brookfield Conference Center is seeking an HGI Hotel Cook for flexible weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts. Starting wage is $18.00/hour, with potential increases for experienced candidates.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered to join our hospitality team and grow within a values-driven company. Open to morning shifts with a strong emphasis on culinary excellence, guest satisfaction, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One to two years or more of kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food, ensuring attractive plate presentation.
• Complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures and portions.
• Maintains inventory controls and dates all incoming products.
• Keeps lines and storage stocked with items and utensils for service.
• Maintains a clean kitchen and all work surfaces daily.
• Maintains kitchen storage areas, dry and refrigerated, organized.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Prepares and cooks food, ensuring attractive plate presentation
• Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation / special handling instructions
• Maintains first in / first out inventory controls and dates all incoming products
• Keeps the lines and storage stocked with all items and utensils needed for service
• Maintains a clean kitchen by cleaning all work surfaces used in food preparation on an ongoing basis, as well as the kitchen equipment used daily
• Maintains all food storage areas, dry and refrigerated, organized and clean
