Job summary

Fiber Network Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced In-house Broadband/HFC Telecommunications Project Manager to lead our Beckley, WV team on HFC/Broadband projects, including BAU, spans, relos, Hyperbuild, Newbuild, Metro-E.

In this role you will manage construction for Outside/Inside plant projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality services to our clients. Qualifications include 5–7 years of HFC/Broadband/CATV construction project management, knowledge of CATV HFC infrastructure,

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience managing HFC/Broadband/CATV construction projects.
• Willing to train in Manassas, VA for 2–3 weeks.
• Knowledge of CATV HFC infrastructure and related technologies.
• Strong team communication and collaboration abilities.
• Must be able to start work at 7:00 am daily.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug/background checks.
• DOT physical ability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage supervisors, coordinators, administration staff and crews.
• Plan and manage HFC Outside/Inside plant projects from start to finish.
• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure quality control and as-built documentation.
• Oversee construction lifecycle and project teams.
• Process final payments and deliver digital packages for billing.
• Communicate progress to management and clients promptly.
• Maintain realistic timelines and accurate project scopes.
• Ensure safe operations in public ROW and inside-plant work.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Perform lifecycle quality checks to meet standards.
• Document final as-builts and billing data.

Skills

HFC/Broadband construction experience

CATV infrastructure knowledge

Effective communication
