Qualifications

• Desired majors include Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Management, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, EHS & Sustainability, Fire Protection & Safety or related fields.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or higher for the duration of the internship.
• Strong academic performance and on-site availability for 40 hours per week.
• Must have a valid driver's license for work-related travel and reliable transportation.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and industrial hygiene projects in refining, logistics, natural gas, and related services.
• Assist with facility audits, employee training, and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in health, safety, and security planning and compliance activities.
• Contribute to incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and government inspections.
• Communicate with Marathon units as an agency liaison and support various projects.
