Job summary

Herman N Logistics is hiring a CDL-A Local Dry Van Driver for a Monday–Friday schedule with home daily on a dedicated account. Expect a 3:00 PM start and a consistent afternoon routine with a 12-hour shift and local routes.

You will work a 53' dry van, handle 2.5–3 hours of dock work or forklift tasks, and sort parts at the Fort Wayne facility. Earn $325 per day and $1,650 per week, with medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Hazmat endorsement required or must obtain within 90 days.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in past 3 years.
• Must meet DOT Clearinghouse requirements.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for safety and duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate 53' dry van on a dedicated local route.
• Perform dock work and forklift operation during shift (approx. 2.5–3 hours).
• Sort parts at the Fort Wayne, IN facility and support loading/unloading as needed.
