ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a Hemodialysis Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered chronic dialysis care in a long-term care facility in Rockford, IL.

You will work under the Unit Medical Director, providing bedside care and ensuring adherence to state and federal standards while building meaningful relationships with long-term residents. You will manage treatments, perform specialized procedures, uphold infection control, plan care, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Hemodialysis experience desirable.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR certification as per AHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, monitor and discontinue hemodialysis procedures with pre- and post-treatment assessments.
• Perform vascular access care and administer medications within scope.
• Maintain infection control, universal precautions, and safe patient handling.
• Develop individualized care plans and educate patients and families.
• Identify and report dialysis-related complications and emergencies.
• Operate, sanitize and maintain dialysis machines and water treatment systems.
• Coordinate with physicians, care coordinators and facility staff.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff; participate in CQI activities.
