Job summary

Albany Med Health System in Albany, NY seeks a seventh AP/CP board-certified, hematopathology fellowship-trained pathologist to join the Division of Hematopathology. The role includes bone marrow and tissue sign-outs, shared call, and teaching responsibilities within a collaborative academic environment.

Base salary range is commensurate with experience and academic rank; total compensation includes a sign-on bonus, incentive components, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• AP/CP board-certified pathologist.
• Hematopathology fellowship-trained.
• Experience with sign-out in hematopathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out of hematopathology cases (bone marrow, tissue, blood/CSF) on a rotating basis.
• Share hematopathology call with the team.
• Participate in teaching activities and conferences, with residents and fellows.
