Job summary

City of Hope in Chicago (Zion, IL) seeks a Hematopathologist/Surgical Pathologist who is board-certified to advance our Department of Pathology. The role includes diagnostic services for hematologic malignancies and routine surgical pathology, with a multidisciplinary team support.

The candidate should have an MD or equivalent, be eligible for an Illinois medical license, and hold board certifications in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree and eligible for Illinois medical license.
• Board Certification in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology is required.
• Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience in Hematopathology and Surgical Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic services to support care of patients with hematologic malignancies and general surgical pathology.
• Join a team of 3 Pathologists plus a multidisciplinary group of physicians and scientists.
• Support the Stem Cell Transplant Program and FACT/NMDP accredited Zion site.
• City of Hope faculty appointment and collaboration with hematology/oncology teams.
