Job summary

Hospital Pathology Associates in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a hematopathologist to join our growing, subspecialized practice in 2026 or 2027. Additional expertise in molecular pathology, transfusion medicine, or a surgical pathology subspecialty is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Job description

Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA). Hospital Pathology Associates (HPA) is a 40+ pathologist practice in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. Our growing practice is seeking a hematopathologist to join us in 2026 or 2027. Additional expertise in another practice area such as molecular pathology, transfusion medicine, or a surgical pathology subspecialty is highly desirable. At least 3 years of experience is preferred, but exceptional current trainees will be considered.

We offer an enjoyable, collaborative working environment in a successful, pathologist-owned practice affiliated with a major Twin Cities health system. We are fully subspecialized, with most pathologists participating in one to three specialty services. This fosters internal expertise, professional growth, and collaboration across the group. We work closely with ourclinical colleagues. As such, strong communication and interpersonal skills are requisite. Partners are encouraged to pursue leadership and scholarship opportunities that forward our mission. Opportunities for teaching are available.

Our practice boasts an extensive in-house testing menu includingflow cytometry, cytogenetics, FISH, next generation sequencing, and same day immunohistochemistry.

The expected starting salary range for this position is $300,000 to $400,000 for recent graduates of training programs, depending on experience and fellowship training.
