GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Thought Leader Liaison in Hematology for the Mid Atlantic / South Atlantic region to build external expert partnerships and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
The role requires oncology experience, strong presentation skills to executives, and flexibility for 60-80% travel across the US. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and adherence to PHARMA guidelines.
The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Hematology builds and manages strategic relationships with a select group of U.S. external experts (EEs), with a deliberate focus on cultivating partnerships and insights across both academic and community oncology settings to ensure commercial strategies reflect the realities of where patients receive care. This role is accountable for generating strategic insights, translating science to actionability, and building brand advocacy. This includes leading strategic engagement with key external experts through robust engagement planning and insight generation aligned to brand and therapeutic area strategies. The TLL generates strategic insights through ongoing interactions with external experts, congresses and executive engagements, while working closely with US/Global Commercial, Medical, and Regulatory partners to translate field perspectives into meaningful business actions that shape brand strategy. TLLs support the oncology in-line brands within their geography while helping prepare the organization for successful oncology launches through disease-state engagement, external expert partnership, and insights that inform future commercial strategy. Six geographies will cover the United States, each aligned with an Oncology Field Vice President, who will be an important stakeholder.

If you are based in Cambridge, MA; Waltham, MA; Rockville, MD; or San Francisco, CA, the annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges $152,625 to $254,375.
If you are based in another US location, the annual base salary range is $138,750 to $231,250.
The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $138,750 to $231,250. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
