Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle is seeking a Hematology-Oncology Physician to join a multi-specialty hospital-based practice with a focus on delivering high-quality cancer care. You will develop individualized treatment plans and work within a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and align care with evidence-based standards.

Ideal candidates will be board-certified in Hematology and Oncology, hold an MD or DO, and have licensure or eligibility in Washington.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
• Active Washington State Medical License, or eligible for licensure.
• 2+ years of post-training experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for hematology and oncology patients.
• Offer guidance and resources to patients and families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers for coordinated care.
• Stay current with research and best practices in hematology and oncology.
• Participate in community outreach and education on cancer care.
