Job summary

The role requires MD/DO, HB Oncology board certification, 2+ years experience, and a Washington license or eligibility.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
  • 2+ years experience following training.
  • Active Washington State Medical License, or eligible for licensure.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience with both hematology and oncology patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with hematology and oncology diseases.
  • Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in both Hematology and Oncology to provide evidence-based care.
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of cancer care and blood disorder issues.
