Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville Hospital in Cartersville, GA, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician to support and expand Piedmont Oncology across the system. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Georgia and work well with local and system-wide providers.

The candidate will participate in research and care pathway initiatives, delivering compassionate, patient-centered cancer care while collaborating with teams across Piedmont Oncology.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in hematology/oncology
• Georgia medical license required
• Strong communication skills and compassion for patients and families
• Self-motivated clinician who collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across Piedmont Oncology

Responsibilities

• Provide medical hematology/oncology care to patients at Piedmont Cartersville Hospital
• Collaborate with local and system-wide oncology teams
• Engage in research and care pathway initiatives across Piedmont Oncology
• Support and expand the cancer program locally and across the system
