Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an oncologist to practice near Charleston, South Carolina, in a private practice with a partnership track. You will join a group of five oncologists with plans to grow to eight, handling a 50/50 mix of solid tumor and hematology with a traditional in- and out-patient blend.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in oncology required or preferred.
• Experience in private practice settings is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a team with dedicated support staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Join a group of oncologists with plans to grow from 5 to 8 providers.
• Maintain a 50/50 mix of solid tumor and hematology with inpatient/outpatient balance.
• Operate with full support staff and Epic EMR.
• Participate in call schedule; collaborate with partners on patient care and program growth.

Job description

You will enjoy practicing near the beautiful, white beaches of South Carolina. This area provides great weather, a low cost of living, and lots of Southern hospitality all right on the coast.

• 4-day clinic schedule with 1 dedicated administrative day per week
• Joining 5 oncologists with plans to grow the group to 8 providers
• 50/50 mix of solid tumor and hematology with traditional in and out patient blend
• Full support staff provided including dedicated assistant, RNs, LPN, and patient coordinators
• Private practice with partnership track available
• Call schedule expected to reach 1:8 when fully staffed
• Epic used for electronic medical records
