Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician (MD/DO) to join a rural system expanding cancer care across northern New Hampshire. This is an outpatient-focused, collaborative role with infusion center support, a strong leadership voice, and opportunities to shape services.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology, and NH licensure. Relocation, commencement bonus, and student loan repayment are offered.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Board certification in Hematology/Oncology or board-eligibility will be considered.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care.
  • Collaborate with infusion nursing, pharmacy, primary care, and specialty teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based oncology initiatives.
  • Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions

  • Participate in oncology call rotation as assigned
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire
  • Completion of accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship
