Job summary
A physician-led, independent 450+ bed hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join and help shape a community oncology program. Benign hematology & oncology position, interest in breast cancers would fit well; weekly tumor conferences and clinical trial resources are in place.
Compensation includes base guarantee with wRVU bonuses, relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, 8 weeks PTO, CME stipend, full health benefits, malpractice coverage, and visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Benign hematology & oncology position
- Interest in breast cancers would fit well
- Weekly tumor conferences with Mayo Clinic Care Network partner
- Clinical trial resources available
- H-1B visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Join a physician-led, independent 450+ bed hospital in Kansas City to shape a community oncology program
- Support outpatient volumes with expected patient loads and collaboration with oncology peers
- Interact with Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Financial Navigation and Nurse Navigation
- Utilize Oracle/Cerner EMR for patient care
- Participate in tumor conferences and engage in ongoing clinical trials
- Support inpatient coverage with Oncology APRN and care teams
