Job summary

Medicorp, Inc. in Southeast New Mexico seeks a Hematology/Oncology physician for full-time service. The role involves treating cancer and blood disorders, with responsibilities including chemotherapy administration, bone marrow biopsies, and consultations with radiation oncology and surgery.

Qualifications

• Physician must hold MD with board-certified hematology-oncology training.
• Active New Mexico medical license.
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in hematology-oncology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cancer, solid tumors, and blood disorders.
• Write and manage chemotherapy orders; monitor treatment.
• Perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures; manage complications.
• Coordinate with radiation oncology and surgical teams as needed.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient oncology care, including emergencies.
