Job summary

University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, seeks a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist to join Castro Valley clinics. The physician will handle general hematology/oncology in a community-based setting, with outpatient visits averaging 18 patients per day and 15 infusion chairs on-site.

The role includes inpatient rounds at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital and Eden Medical Center, with on-call for hospitalized UHA patients.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist (BC/BE) for full-time appointment.
• Experience in outpatient hematology/oncology care preferred.
• Castro Valley location and clinic-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hematology/oncology care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Inpatient rounds at affiliated hospitals including hospitalists on-site.
• Participate in a shared call schedule (1:5) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and collaborate with Stanford Medicine Faculty and other specialists.
