Job summary

Northbay Health is seeking a board-certified physician in Hematology and Medical Oncology to join a premier Northern California team between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento. The role supports both outpatient and inpatient needs with a strong clinical trial program and on-site infusion services.

The schedule includes 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours of indirect care per week, with one weekend on-call per month, plus telehealth optional.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and California medical license.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
• Experience with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage adult patients with hematology and oncology conditions.
• Coordinate treatment plans using tumor boards and clinical trials.
• Oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and related therapies in infusion settings.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and treatment options.
• Maintain compliant medical records and adhere to NCCN/ASCO guidelines.
