Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hematology-Oncology physician for locum tenens support in California. Start ASAP with 8am-5pm Monday–Friday schedule in a hospital setting. Infusion center provides chemotherapy, immunotherapy and transfusions.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Oncology or Hematology is required, ACLS certification is needed, and California licensure is required. Credentialing typically takes 30–60 days.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Oncology or Hematology.
• ACLS certification.
• California medical license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hematology-oncology care in a hospital setting.
• Diagnose, stage, and plan treatment for hematology/oncology patients.
• Manage infusion center therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, hormone therapy and related interventions.

This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Type of cases and required procedures: All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients. Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, andTherapeutic Phlebotomies.
• Credentialing timeframe:30-60 days

Electronic Medical Record (EMR):iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)

Certifications required: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematologyand Advance Cardiac Life Support

Licensure required: California
