Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for Lowell, MA. Join LGH CancerCare Associates on the Lowell General Hospital campus with a 4-day work week, shared call, and access to advanced technology and clinical research.

The ideal candidate is board-certified/eligible in Hematology/Oncology, with internal medicine residency and fellowship in Oncology, licensed or eligible in Massachusetts, and a team player committed to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
• Completed Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
• Massachusetts medical license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of general Hematology/Oncology care.
• Share call with a 1:5 rotation.
• Collaborate with a large multidisciplinary provider team.
• Engage in academic appointments and teaching with Tufts University School of Medicine.

Education

Location: Lowell, MA (Tufts Medicine - Lowell General Hospital - Cancer Care Associates)

Job Type: Full-Time (4-day work week)

About the Position:

• Provide a full range of general Hematology/Oncology care


• Shared call with a rotation of 1:5


• Work closely with a large, multidisciplinary provider team

• Radiation Oncology


• Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinic


• Head & Neck Multidisciplinary Cancer Clinic


• Benign Hematology Clinic


• Clinical Genetics


• Infusion Room


• Dedicated Inpatient Oncology Unit


• Specialized Nutrition Therapy


• Clinical Research Department/Clinical Trials


• Integrative Therapies and Support Services


• For clinician educators: Academic appointments available. Opportunity to teach medical students and fellows from Tufts University School of Medicine in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Who You Are:

• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology


• Completed a Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology


• Background supporting a community-based cancer treatment center is a plus


• Holds or is eligible for a current Massachusetts medical license


• A team player who collaborates across disciplines to champion exceptional patient care and satisfaction
