Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hematology-Oncology physician for locum tenens support in Grand Rapids, MI. The assignment features a Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule with some call, and a pay rate of $388–$420 per hour. Cases are 50% hematology and 50% oncology, for adults and geriatric patients, with EPIC as the EMR.

The ideal candidate is Board-certified, holds an active Michigan license and BLS, with credentialing in 90–120 days and temporary privileges available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Hematology-Oncology with active Michigan medical license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat 50% hematology and 50% oncology cases for adults and geriatrics.
• Provide inpatient malignant hematology care and outpatient clinic support.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and document care in EPIC.

• Practice Setting: Clinic, Outpatient, Inpatient
• Type of cases: 50% hematology and 50% oncology, Adult and Geriatric patients
• Must be comfortable doing Malignant Hematology (inpatient)
• Credentialing Timeframe:90-120 days, temporary privileges are available
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Must have Basic Life Support (BLS), must be Board certified and have an active Michigan license required
