Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Physician Assistant in Hematology/Oncology for full-time inpatient care. The role involves caring for patients with hematologic conditions, performing exams and managing admissions, and participating in procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.

Qualifications

• Inpatient care of hematology/oncology patients.
• Ability to perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture, intrathecal chemotherapy.
• Chemotherapy prescribing privileges for appropriate providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with acute and chronic hematologic illnesses (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma) in inpatient settings.
• Conduct comprehensive H&P and manage admitted hematology patients.
• Support both inpatient and ambulatory teams within UW Health.
