Job summary

Advocate Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Hematology/Oncology outpatient team. The role centers on team-based patient care, examinations, and coordinating care within the oncology clinic.

The position offers Mon-Fri, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with no nights or weekends, a competitive pay range, CME reimbursement up to $2,500, generous PTO accrual, relocation assistance of $7,500, and clear opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, Certified by NCCPA.
• Minimum of one year of experience in hematology/oncology or primary care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and evaluates patients in a team-based clinic setting.
• Orders and interprets laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Explains procedures and prepares patients for tests and treatments.
• Performs procedures per department guidelines.
• Participates in research projects when available.
• Precepts students and medical learners when possible.
