Palo Verde Cancer Specialists in Arizona is seeking an experienced NP or PA to join our provider team on a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule supporting medical oncology in the West Valley. The APP will perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and coordinate care with physicians and nurses to deliver hematology and oncology care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Master's degree in Nursing or an equivalent Physician Assistant degree.
• Current, unrestricted Arizona NP or PA license.
• Current DEA registration, as applicable.
• Hematology/oncology experience preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for hematology and oncology patients in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Monitor patient progress, assess treatment responses, and adjust care plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
