We are seeking experienced medical oncologists interested in returning to practice on a part-time basis — as little as one to three days a week — to join our medical oncology/hematology faculty practice. If you've stepped away from full-time practice but still miss the patients, the medicine, or simply having a purposeful place to be a few days a week, we'd love to talk with you.
The mission of the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute, which oversees over 40 oncologists, is the highest quality of patient-centered and multidisciplinary care and patient experience, as well as clinical research trial enrollment. Over the past 10 years, we have partnered withMemorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centerand developed a collaborative relationship for the oversight of standards of care, education, and clinical research.

• A fixed, predictable schedule of clinic days each week or every other week.
• Covering general medical oncology or focusing on a disease site you know well.
• Mentoring fellows or early-career physicians without carrying a full clinical workload.

You'll be fully supported by a well-established practice — a talented medical oncology/hematology faculty group, experienced advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, and systemwide Disease Management teams that ensure one standard of care across Hartford HealthCare's eight-hospital network, which cares for 1 in 3 Connecticut residents. Administrative and clinical infrastructure — scheduling, EMR, tumor boards, and clinical trial support — are already in place, so you can focus on the part you love most: seeing patients.
